Into the Light is Durham’s county-wide creative place partnership programme, designed to drive long-lasting growth in County Durham. It aims to cultivate talent, widen access to creative education, enhance the skills of the cultural workforce, and break down barriers to working in the creative industries. We are delivering eight programmes working with ten delivery partners across the County. The skills, knowledge, and experience of freelance creative practitioners and artists are an essential part of this.
